In order to see the animations in Art of the Catch, you must follow these simple installation steps after subscribing.
![]() Install Art of the Catch using Mod Manager
But the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and the hkxcmd.exe doesn't appear inside the data/tools/GenerateFNISforUsers inside my Skyrim directory. Obviously, users would have to wait until the Address Library plugin was updated for a new.
Please install Art of the Catch from Skyrim Nexus using the Nexus Mod Manager, Mod Organizer, or similar.
Download FNIS
FNIS is a utility that allows modders to integrate new animations into Skyrim. Please download it from the link below. Choose to download the latest version, preferably using the “Download with Manager” button. As of this writing, the latest version is FNIS Behavior V5_4_1 — ALWAYS necessary.
Install FNIS
Install FNIS by selecting Download with Manager and install using a mod manager (recommended) such as Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer.
For detailed installation instructions, follow all steps for your particular setup as documented in the FNIS description under “Installation (extended)“.
Run FNIS for Users
Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe from the steamsteamappscommonskyrimDatatools directory after installing FNIS and click Update FNIS Behavior. You should see output that looks like the following.
(Mod Organizer users: Please see FNIS installation documentation for specific instructions on running GenerateFNISforUsers.exe with Mod Organizer, as the above method will not work in Mod Organizer’s folder separated system. You must run FNIS through Mod Organizer with Art of the Catch activated instead.)
Enjoy The Mod!
Congratulations! You have completed the animation set-up for Art of the Catch.
You can now run Skyrim and catch fish to your heart’s content.
Have fun!

Recommendations
STEP recommends only the FNIS Behavior file.
Notice:Users only need to run this mod if also using the Maximum Skeleton Extended, or other mods that support/require it. For STEP, this applies to Dual Sheath Redux, which is listed in the Patches section of the Guide. Disregard this mod if Dual Sheath Redux was not installed.

Once FNIS is installed and set up to run inside Mod Organizer, the animation files need to be generated for the skeleton changes and weapon placement to show properly in game. Combined with XP32 Skeleton and Dual Sheath Redux, Fore's New Idle System allows users to place swords, daggers, and shields on the Player Character's back instead on the hip and arm.
Notice:People using Wrye Bash to manage their mods will need to do the following: After installing the mod, the executables ('GenerateFNISforUsers.exe' & 'hkxcmd.exe') will not have been installed. Either copy them over manually to the relative path corresponding to the installer package or simply manually copy the 'Data' directory within the package into skyrim/ and overwrite all files. This ensures that Wrye Bash can manage the installation of all conflicting meshes.
